Our heavy duty and specially-adapted winches perform consistently for offshore, fishing, shipping and aquaculture customers along the entire coast of Norway and in maritime environments all over the world. We stock several standard products, meaning short delivery times.

Our drum winches are constructed and designed according to Norwegian Maritime Authorities rule No.1853 and ISO7365

Our drum winches can be delivered with system for advanced data logging collecting various data from the winch operation.

The range includes anchor winches, rope winches and purse seine winches. We also designer and produce other winches and types of recovery equipment according to customer specifications.

AW – Anchor winches

AW – Anchor winches, or the AW range, are available in lifting capacities from 1 to 5 tons and 6 to 20 tons holding capacity. AW1-6, AW1.5-10 and AW5-20 are available with hydraulic power, some with electrical power. All models have drum, cable lifter and slip clutch. The design is modular, meaning that they can be adapted to different cable sizes, cable lifter diameters and drum sizes.

AW5-20 is our biggest anchor winch and is only available with hydraulic power, load sheave and cable lifter. AW1-6, AW1,5-10 and AW2-20 are made in aluminium, whilst the larger AW5-20 is in steel. We also supply control panels specially designed for anchor winches.

TVD – Purse seine winches

TVD – Purse seine winches are made in aluminium and are hydraulically-powered. Our standard product range features two models: TVD-70 and TVD-80. TVD-70 can handle loads of up to 7.5 tons, with a wire capacity of up to 2x1200m with 14mm wire. TVD-80 comes in two versions: one 10 ton and one 14 ton capacity, both with wire capacity of up to 2x1000m with 22mm wire. All models are supplied with a mechanical winding system that can be replaced according to the desired wire dimension, and are available with electronic measurement system for wire length. Purse seine winches are a double winch system as standard, but can also be supplied as a separated pair. The drums have a mechanical slip clutch and are available with either manually or hydraulically operated brake systems. To adapt the winch to any vessel or job, the design can be adjusted to meet requirements for wire capacity and traction power.

DW – Drum Winch range

The DW Drum Winch range consists of three winches: DW-20, DW-40 and DW-60, produced in steel and with max. traction power of 20, 40 and 60 tons respectively. They are hydraulically-powered but can be adapted to electrical power. Our drum winches come with a complete hydraulic system including pumps, valves and cooling system. The winches can be expanded to include a control panel with advanced data logging and and load sensing and limitation system.

The design is modular, which means it can be adapted to most capacity requirements. Based on standard dimensions, the DW-20 has drum capacity of 300m, 30mm hawsers, whilst the DW-40 and DW-60 have capacity for 650m, 60mm hawsers.

The control system consists of a cabinet and a control panel, the system also has inputs for external remote. Operation of the winch is done via a control panel located on the bridge, remote or locally.

The control panel consists of touch screen for mode selection, settings and log functions and a joystick to operate the winch.

During all operations, the system will log data. The log contains load data, active operator mode, hydraulic pressure and, if available – the geographic coordinates of the vessel. All data are logged to flash memory in a USB stick.
